the theme of the high-speed train (TGV) is stilts. i've seen at least 2 or 3 demonstrations, though this one was by far the best.

Welcome to Marseilles! This is the hotel where we stayed. it wasn't very expensive, though we didn't realize we had to pay for breakfast after we'd eaten it...oh well.

this was taken while we were on a ferry boat. we were sitting at the back for a while when all of a sudden the driver hit the gas and we got soaked! it was one of the best parts of the trip!

there were these different cows all over Marseilles. I'm not quite sure why, but I believe there's over 300. I thought it was pretty cool, it reminded me of the cow in the Central library!
